Lauren's workout routine
A normal day goes something like this: normally starts with a run or spin bike, gym in the late morning, cold plunge/sauna in the afternoon! Often adding in a walk at night with the pup.
What inspired you to get info fitness training?
I have always played sports: field hockey, track and competitive cheerleading. I got into running after college and never looked back. In the last few years, I have added intense weight lifting into the mix which helps tremendously with running and overall strength for life.
What types of training do you do most?
I use a good mix of weight training and running, also love jumping into local races here in FL to test my speed. I enjoy track tuesdays with the Tropical Run Crew! I enjoy all things hiking and outdoor activities, and snow shoeing in the winter.

Lauren's Highlights:

Running
Running is my community. I have competed in 3 of the major marathons, Boston, London, New York and look to add some more to my resume.

Life
I love spending time with my dog (Zoey) and traveling as much as possible. Going back to Maine to see my family as often as I can too!

Weight Training
I try to weight train a few times a week, i believe it is key to help me get faster and stronger while running. Yes you can do both!
